Immune Boosting Green Smoothie

Serves 1

This green smoothie is filled with immune boosting ingredients that taste delicious. Have one as a mid-afternoon snack to stay healthy and focused.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup shaved ice

  • 3/4 cup coconut water, or water

  • 1 piece ginger, 1 inch thick

  • 2 green apples, cored and quartered

  • 1/4 English cucumber, chopped

  • 1/4 avocado

  • 1/2 bunch flat leaf parsley, leaves only, chopped

  • Juice of ¼ of a lemon

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

  • ½ teaspoon flax seeds


Make it:

  • Add ingredients to a high-powered blender in the order listed, adding cold water if you want to thin out the consistency.

  • Pour and enjoy!
