Step Back Before You Speed Up

I’ve had a love-hate relationship with social media for years. Some seasons it feels like connection. Other seasons it feels like static. This summer, I spent less time in my grid and more time connecting in other ways, and it changed something in me I wasn’t expecting.

In this episode, I’m talking about the move this time of year is actually asking for. Everyone’s system looks like it’s spinning right now, and the instinct is to match that speed. The move is to step back first, not as a stall, but as the mechanism that makes the next move land.

I walk through what going inward looked like for me this summer, from stepping away from certain voices online to being present with my family, and why my expression of the work matters more than the work being original.

Applied through my Self Care for Business and Seasons Success Method philosophy, this kind of pause builds cleaner steadiness, a stronger internal foundation, and expansion that actually holds. This is an invitation to find your own pace this season, and trust it.

In This Episode:

  • Why stepping back is the actual move this season, not a stall
  • The love-hate relationship with social media, and what shifted this summer
  • Choosing connection over content for a season, and what it revealed
  • Being present for a specific window of time with family, without documenting all of it
  • Letting go of comparison with voices she respects, because the operating style is different
  • Why the work doesn’t need to be original, only the expression of it does
  • An invitation to try a new pace this season, with full permission to return to the old one
