The Third Way: How I Live It and Why It Changes Everything in Business
I’ve been working on a book. The working subtitle is A New Lens for Founders Who Build to Last, and the concept at the center of it is something I’m calling the third way.
I didn’t invent it. I lived it. For decades, across every season of my life, I kept choosing a path that wasn’t the expected one and wasn’t the contrarian one either. I didn’t know that’s what I was doing. I was just following what felt true from the inside, and saying no to the things that didn’t, even when the no looked like it cost me something.
The third way is a life concept before it’s a business one. It’s the practice of building from your own knowing rather than from the center of gravity everyone else is orbiting. And when you apply that to how you lead, how you offer, how you grow, something shifts in the sustainability of what you’re building.
This minisode is three minutes. It’s the introduction to an idea I’m going to spend a lot more time on. I wanted you to hear it first.
EPISODE OUTLINE POINTS
- What the third way is, and what it isn’t, named as a life concept first
- How it shows up in the way you build a business, without it being a business strategy
- Why founders at the high five-figure to seven-figure level are the ones who most recognize this pattern in their own history
- The cost of spending years trying to fit yourself into someone else’s center of gravity
- What it feels like when the path finally comes from inside you
- How this concept is shaping the book, and why the minisode is just the beginning
