Legacy, Land, and the Weight We Carry: What Yellowstone Stirred in Me

I started watching Yellowstone almost five years late to the party. I thought I was stepping into a different place and time so I could take a breath from what was happening in my own extended family and in the world. What I found was something far deeper.

Watching 1883 and 1923 opened something in me around ancestry, belonging, stewardship, and the weight people carry in pursuit of protecting what they love. It stirred questions about where I came from, what I am here to do, and how power, land, wealth, and legacy have always been intertwined.

This solo chat is a reflection on those themes and the recalibration that followed. When you look at your own lineage, your own blocks, and your own desire to build something meaningful, you begin to see that business is never just business. It is stewardship. It is responsibility. It is the expression of your inner world into tangible form.
